Our Identity
Morning Glory Montessori Child Development Centre is built upon a firm foundation of Christian faith, godly values, and holistic child development.
For over 28 years, our mission has been to nurture confident, creative, principled, and future-ready children — anchored in Christ and prepared to influence the world with excellence. We believe every child is uniquely designed by God, filled with potential, and called to live a life of purpose and impact.
Our Approach
Christ-Centred Yet Inclusive School
While Morning Glory MCDC is proudly a Christian school, we welcome and celebrate families from all faiths and backgrounds. We do not require students to be Christian in order to attend our school.
We encourage an environment where:
- All students feel loved, seen, and respected
- Diverse beliefs are treated with kindness and tolerance
- Every child belongs, regardless of faith background
We teach values that are universal — respect, empathy, leadership, integrity, responsibility, and excellence — shaped by our Christian foundation and expressed through our iLEAD values: Integrity, Leadership, Excellence, Accountability, Dedication.
A Non-Denominational Christian Community
Morning Glory MCDC does not belong to or receive funding from any particular Christian denomination. We are a non-denominational Christian institution, guided by the core tenets of Scripture and committed to nurturing unity, peace, and godly character among our children.
Our desire is to:
- Uphold biblical truth
- Demonstrate Christlike love
- Encourage spiritual growth
- Support families in raising grounded, value-driven children
Our Expectations
What We Do Not Expect
As a Christian school, we do not expect:
- That all applying students must profess Christianity.
- That current students must make a faith decision while in school.
We honour personal journeys and believe faith must be genuine, not forced.
What We Do Expect
We expect all members of our school community — students, staff, and families — to:
- Show respect for one another’s beliefs and backgrounds.
- Participate respectfully in school devotions and Christian observances.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of unity, peace, love, and acceptance.
What We Hope For
We hope that:
- Every child feels valued, loved, and welcomed.
- All experience God’s love through our Christ-centred culture.
- Students are encouraged to explore matters of faith at their own pace.
- Learners grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Each child discovers their God-given gifts, identity, and purpose.
- Students develop the courage to influence society with truth and compassion.
A Personal Journey of Faith — Never Forced
If a student feels led to explore or embrace Christianity, we support that journey. Faith decisions must be personal, Spirit-led, and free of pressure.
No academic advantage or disadvantage is ever based on a child’s faith position. At Morning Glory MCDC, every child matters, every child is loved, and every child is purpose-built.
Our Foundation
Our Statement of Faith
Grounded in Christ. Focused on Leadership. Shaping Kingdom Influencers.
- God is the Creator and King, who made the world and every person with love, intention, and purpose.
- Every person is a steward of God’s Kingdom, bearing His image and carrying a divine assignment.
- Humanity has been separated from God through sin, and all have fallen short of His standard.
- Reconciliation with God comes through Jesus Christ alone, by faith and through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
- The Bible is God’s inspired Word, containing His infallible wisdom and direction for life, faith, leadership, and conduct.
Our Kingdom Mandate
Raising children who are equipped to transform the world
We believe God’s Kingdom is meant to influence every aspect of human life. As a school, we are committed to raising children who will grow to lead and excel in:
- Faith & Ministry — spiritual maturity, sound doctrine, character, discipleship.
- Family & Relationships — healthy homes, values-driven parenting, strong interpersonal skills.
- Education & Knowledge — thought leadership, academic excellence, innovation, transformation of learning spaces.
- Government, Leadership & Public Service — justice, integrity, humility, public responsibility.
- Business & Economy — entrepreneurship, ethical leadership, wealth creation with purpose.
- Arts, Media & Entertainment — creativity, influence, truth-telling, wholesome storytelling.
- Science, Technology & Innovation — problem-solving, critical thinking, sustainable global solutions.
Everyday habits, consistent love, and intentional excellence.
Our culture is built on a core belief:
“that every daily action, no matter how small, shapes the child, the community, and the future we are building.”
